Photography

I wish I had my own D-SLR(digital)camera, because i love taking pictures. Taking pictures is one of my many interests in life, since it is a nice hobby, I can also have material memories of events, family and friends for me to cherish for the rest of my life...

For those who love photography or taking pictures, I have some tips for you on how to take or shoot a nice photo.

First, when taking a picture make sure the lighting is excellent. When taking pictures outside on a daylight, you don't need to use the camera's flash because it won't have any huge effect at all. Flash only affects portraits and close capture photos. For example when your are taking a portrait picture and you notice that the sun very bright that's the time that you will use the camera's flash, it will counter the suns brightness or lessen the exposure of your photo, making the photo more balanced.

Second is the vanishing point, it is located at the center of the photo. make sure your capture has a vanishing point so your photo won't be imbalanced. This is very important because the center is your main focal point, so when you look at the picture you can easily tell what is the main subject of the photo. Vanishing points are more noticable on landscape photos.

Last is what you call "The Rule of 3rds". The rule of thirds is a compositional rule of thumb in photography and other visual arts such as painting and design. The rule states that an image can be divided into nine equal parts by two equally-spaced horizontal lines and two equally-spaced vertical lines. The four points formed by the intersections of these lines can be used to align features in the photo. A very good example of photos where you can actually notice the rule of thirds are landscapes.

So when taking pictures, make sure you have atleast these 3 important elements, lighting, vanishing point and the rule of thirds. I suggest that you use these elements, maybe people might mistakenly think that you are a professional photographer...

Dare you to move

When you are alone, have you ever thought of something quite different? Is there a time when you have realized everything happening has a purpose? Or have you come to think of something for a change? Maybe there is..
How did you express yourself in this world? Or should we say what the world has given you?
Do you believe in change? Or is there change?
People may not believe in the word "contentment" but is there really contentment? We often say that we are contented on what we have but the fact is that we always look forward to something much bigger or better. God has given us everything life has to offer yet we still hope for something more. Haven't you realized to look forward in changing yourself? Maybe it is the main purpose life, to change ourselves.

There is this song by Switchfoot entitled "Dare You to Move". For those who have heard it take deep understanding about its lyrics. Those who have understood good for you, for those who have not, learn from it. When i first heard about the song, i find it good. I kept listening to the song time to time and I realize that there is a deeper message on it. It is about looking forward, making a change for yourself.

Since the beginning of time, God told us stories for us to learn the value of life and the value of love as a person. As the story goes He made us realize the importance of life, that we are made not to be His slaves but to be His servant, He gave us the free will to do whatever we want. But what did we all do? We disobeyed His rules and His will for the betterment of everyone. And this is what I have realized about the song "dare you to move", its about changing ourselves to become a better person.
